What is Asterpix SearchLight? Asterpix SearchLight is a program that enables publishers to increase user engagement and improve monetization of online content. Our technology automatically crawls your pages to find salient concepts and displays search phrases that would intrigue and interest your audience. The delivered search phrases help users find related pages on your site in addition to increasing search traffic and monetization.
How do I get started? You can start by applying for a SearchLight account. After registering, we'll review your application and follow up with an email in a couple days. After your application has been approved you can log in to your account, configure your choices and grab your code snippet. Add the code to your pages and we'll start serving relevant search phrases in the cloud. You can track click-through rates in the console.
What are the system requirements? End Users will need the following:

- Firefox 2 or higher (Windows XP/Vista/Mac OS X 10.4 w/ 32 bit Intel)
- Safari 2.0 or higher (Mac OS X 10.4 w/ 32 bit Intel)
Is it possible to serve the cloud via an ad-server like Google Ad Manager Yes, SearchLight clouds can be served through any ad server that supports third party ad tags. You can serve the cloud by uploading the code snippet generated as a creative to your ad management system.

What sizes are available for SearchLight clouds? You can select from a wide range of sizes, including the following IAB standard sizes:
- 300x250 Medium Rectangle
- 728x90 Leaderboard
- 160X600 Wide Skyscraper

What is the proper syntax for entering the URL for search on my site? You should enter the full URL for a search query on your site excluding keywords. The keywords will be automatically appended to the search URL you provide based on the search phrases generated. For example, your standard search syntax might be something like:
http://www.example.com/search?=
When search phrases are generated, we will automatically append the keywords to the search URL: http://www.example.com/search?=keyword1+keyword2
What are 'generally popular search phrases for my site'? This option displays the most frequently clicked search phrases across your entire site. These phrases will be displayed in the cloud when relevant search phrases for a specific page cannot be retrieved.

What are active/inactive clouds? Active clouds are those that were either created or received impressions in the last 30 days.

What are supported domains? Clouds will only be active on domains you specify in your account settings. You can add/remove supported domains in the account section of the console. If a cloud is placed on an unsupported domain, the space will be blank (no search phrases displayed) and impressions will not be counted in reports.

When will I get paid? Publishers using Asterpix Searchlight with Hosted Search will be paid once their earnings reach the payment threshold of US$ 100.00. The payments will be sent to the address entered during sign up, address can be verified/edited by going to the 'My Accounts' section. If your account balance hasn't reached the payment threshold at the end of the month, your earnings will be rolled over to the following month, until the payment threshold is reached.
